Children, young and old, have come together to aid Japan. Thanks to your outpouring of support and caring we have received more than 2 million origami cranes for children that have been affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Our initial goal was to send up to 50,000 pieces for every crane we received but you have so inspired us that in addition to the original 50,000 garments, we've added an additional 30,000, bringing our total to 80,000 pieces which is $1.5 million dollars worth of clothing.
As your donations arrive in Japan, we’ll add photos, updates and stories about the kids you’ve helped to this page. We’ll also post to facebook so you can share them with your friends, family and community groups who made this all possible.

In a show of gratitude, please accept this certificate of thanks for all the cranes you submitted. Feel free to download this and present to your children, students, friends and co-workers that participated in this project.

We could not have made this donation happen without the support of people like you and our sponsors both here in the US and in Japan:
